The City of Cedar Falls is hosting two public meetings to discuss current parking in the Cedar Falls Downtown District as well as potential updates. The community is invited to attend one of the two meetings to share their input. The first meeting will take place on Monday, February 26, at 6:00 p.m. and the second will be on Tuesday, February 27, at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings will take place at the Cedar Falls Public Library Second Floor Meeting Room (524 Main Street). To help the growing Downtown District serve as a welcoming and accessible place for all visitors and citizens, the City has partnered with the consulting group, Fishbeck, to conduct the meetings as well as an online public survey that will study parking occupancy, policy, and potential future parking needs. Both City staff and members of the consulting group will be at the meetings to assist the community and gather their feedback. The online survey will be available to the public beginning February 19 through March 4. Learn more at bit.ly/cfpark24.
