The community is invited to the Cedar Falls Human Rights Commission's Inaugural Fall Summit on November 17, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Central Rivers AEA located at 1521 Technology Pkwy in Cedar Falls.
As the event theme – "Critical Conversations: Does That Really Happen Here?"– poses, attendees will consider crucial questions and engage in vital conversations surrounding human rights issues facing the Cedar Valley.
With registration, you will experience your choice of two breakout sessions as well as keynote speaker, Chiquita Loveless, and her topic, "Things to Consider when Hiring a Person of Color." Registration also includes a light breakfast, lunch, and beverages.
