Gateway River Park Ribbon Cutting and Community Celebration

– The community is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the Cedar Falls Gateway River Park on Saturday, June 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Gateway Park Shelter located at East Main and Lincoln Street! During this fun and free event, guests can learn how to river surf, see professional in-river kayak demonstrations, and get area fishing insights. The celebration will also include river safety tips from local experts, information on water recreation in Cedar Falls, and guided tours of the new river features.
