Bosco Catholic School System is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Development Director to lead and manage marketing, communications, enrollment growth initiatives, and fundraising efforts. This individual will report to the K-12 Principal, and collaborate with the administration, School Operations Manager, the Bosco Catholic School System Foundation, Endowment Committees, Leadership Team, and various staff and volunteer groups. The Development Director will play a key role in advancing the school’s mission by fostering strong relationships and communications with alumni, donors, prospective families, and the greater community.
Strong understanding of fundraising and development best practices; experience in Catholic education preferred
Proven success in fundraising, marketing, communications (both print and digital), and event planning
Excellent leadership, organizational, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives effectively
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability and willingness to quickly acquire new knowledge and skills essential to the role

Marketing & Communications: Develop and oversee the creation of print and digital materials, including the annual report, alumni and friends newsletters, social media content, marketing materials, website updates, and donor communications.
Enrollment Growth: Implement strategies to attract and welcome new students and families, including organizing admissions events that highlight the benefits of a Catholic education. Work closely with staff to promote a culture of growth and engagement.
Donor Relations & Fundraising: Maintain strong relationships with donors, ensuring proper stewardship through donor database management, processing and acknowledging gifts, and generating donor reports.
Community Engagement: Collaborate with PTO, Booster Club, and other groups to support their fundraising and engagement initiatives while strengthening connections with alumni, parishioners, and community members.
Strategic Leadership: Serve as the chair of the Foundation Committee which provides guidance for development efforts. Report directly to school administration and work closely with key stakeholders to advance the school’s mission and financial sustainability.
