Assistant Vice President Advancement/Treasurer Foundation

Responsibilities: Serves as Assistant Vice President for Advancement Services and Treasurer of the UNI Foundation; serves as a member of the leadership management team and serves as a liaison to the Board of Trustees and the investment/finance and audit committees; manages the finance and accounting functions of the Advancement Financial Services office including cash and asset management, investments, reporting and compliance; oversees the development and administration of financial policies and procedures; oversees financial statement and tax return preparation and distribution as well as the external audit process; and oversees the division’s accounting and information technology staff.

Qualifications: At least a bachelor’s degree in accounting; at least five years of experience in a senior financial role; supervisory experience; knowledge of non-profit accounting and reporting requirements; and experience with accounting and spreadsheet software required. Master’s degree in business administration (MBA); CMA designation or CPA; experience with a non-profit organization of at least $5 million in assets; experience working with external auditors or tax preparers; leadership and team management abilities; analytical and organizational skills; and excellent written and oral communication skills preferred.
