Position Description:
Under general supervision, serves as receptionist and performs administrative duties for Office of Admissions; greets visitors and answers questions; answers phone and refers inquiries to appropriate persons; handles requests for information from staff, parents, students, alumni, and the public; orders and maintains inventory of office supplies; uses University procurement card and online purchasing systems according to Business Operations guidelines for purchases of supplies and services; initiates and processes standard forms and documents such as personnel action forms, travel authorizations and reimbursement; schedules meetings and initiates maintenance requests; and performs related duties as assigned. This is a first shift position with a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Required Qualifications:
Any combination of related clerical office experience, related undergraduate education, and/or post high school clerical training that is the equivalent to two years of full-time employment and includes the use of word processing.
